Chernay recently obtained her Masters in Special Education from Penn State University. Her experience before joining Building Bridges includes several years of teaching in early education at other local centers, and volunteer work with students with intellectual disabilities. Her ultimate career goal is to get her PhD in Early Childhood Education and continue to teach. She has a beagle named Iroh. In her free time, Chernay enjoys yoga, video games, watching horror movies, reading, and sudoku.
